According to WAFA News Agency, a Palestinian detainee named Ahmad Hatem Mohammad Khdeirat died in an Israeli hospital on Tuesday due to deliberate medical negligence.

In reaction, Hamas has issued a strongly worded statement expressing condolences over Khdeirat’s death.

He had been suffering from illness and deprivation in prison, the movement said, warning of the dangers of Israel’s plot of gradual killing targeting detainees.

The statement emphasized that such measures have turned prisons into silent mass graves.
