Hamas calls Israeli prisons mass graves for Palestinian detainees
TEHRAN (Iran News) The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, says that the crimes of the occupying forces against heroic Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons have not ceased.
According to WAFA News Agency, a Palestinian detainee named Ahmad Hatem Mohammad Khdeirat died in an Israeli hospital on Tuesday due to deliberate medical negligence.
In reaction, Hamas has issued a strongly worded statement expressing condolences over Khdeirat’s death.
He had been suffering from illness and deprivation in prison, the movement said, warning of the dangers of Israel’s plot of gradual killing targeting detainees.
The statement emphasized that such measures have turned prisons into silent mass graves.
Hamas said that the number of deceased prisoners has reached 78 since the beginning of the genocidal war in occupied Palestine.
The movement called for an immediate international action at all levels to hold Israeli leaders accountable for ongoing actions against detainees.
