Iranian ambassador meets with Iraqi National Wisdom leader

TEHRAN (Iran News) Mohammad Kazem Al-e Sadeq, Iranian Ambassador to Iraq,  has met with Ammar al-Hakim, head of the Iraqi National Wisdom Movement, to discuss issues of mutual interest.

According to a statement from al-Hakim’s office, the two officials discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between Iraq and Iran. Their dialogue focused on fostering cooperation that would benefit both nations and their peoples, aiming to deepen Islamic, cultural, economic, and political ties.

Highlighting the upcoming parliamentary elections in Iraq, al-Hakim described this electoral event as crucial and transformative, with the potential to shift the country from a fragile stability to a more enduring one. He emphasized that establishing stability and tranquility in the region is essential for achieving international security.

During the meeting, the Iraqi cleric also underscored the importance of supporting the Palestinian people, aiding refugees, and rebuilding devastated cities. He advocated for resolving issues through dialogue, reflecting a commitment to peaceful and constructive engagement in regional affairs.
