The Public and Revolution Prosecutor of the capital of Kerman province announced the identification and arrest of an individual who was active on social networks in supporting, joining, and recruiting for the terrorist groups Jaysh al-Adl and Ansar al-Furqan.

TEHRAN (Iran NewsThe Public and Revolution Prosecutor of the capital of Kerman province has announced the identification and arrest of an individual who was active on social networks in supporting, joining, and recruiting for the terrorist groups Jaysh al-Adl and Ansar al-Furqan.

Mehdi Bakhshi stated on Saturday in detailing this news: Following the continuous monitoring and surveillance of cyberspace by intelligence and security forces, an individual identified as “MM” with the pseudonym “Arsalan Sarbazi” was identified and arrested on the social network Instagram, promoting, supporting, and inviting cooperation with the terrorist groups Jaysh al-Adl and Ansar al-Furqan.

He added: The defendant has been in contact with elements of the Jaish al-Adl terrorist group for about 9 months and has been exchanging messages with the intention of joining this group.

Referring to the importance of monitoring cyberspace and confronting any activity of terrorist organizations in the media, the Kerman prosecutor said that the defendant was arrested on Saturday during an intelligence operation and was transferred to the Security Police headquarters.
