Pezeshkian: Iran and its neighbors have shown that foreign conspiracies will not disrupt their friendship

TEHRAN (Iran News)  President Masoud Pezeshkian in a telephone conversation with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the purpose for setting up military bases in the region is to create differences among the regional countries.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran and its neighbors showed that these conspiracies do not disrupt their friendship,” President Pezeshkian said during the phone talk with the Prime Minister Sharif on Tuesday.

The President appreciated Pakistan’s clear and decisive positions in support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and condemnation of the Israeli regime’s and American aggression against Iranian territory.

Pezeshkian pointed out that although the Americans claimed during the negotiations that the Zionist regime would not take any action against Iran without their permission, they supported this invasion from the very beginning and when they saw that the Israel was unable to achieve its goals, they directly participated in the military aggression against Iran.

The President said Iran, despite its inner desire, was forced to attack the largest U.S. base located on the soil of friendly and brotherly country of Qatar in response.
