TEHRAN (Iran News) –President Seyed Ebrahim Raisi mentions freedom in history and says “Where have you seen arrogant tell other nations that they want to rob other countries’ resources? They come with slogans of freedom and bring misery to the nations.”
Delivering a speech at the farewell ceremony for the bodies of 400 unknown martyrs of holy defense in Tehran, President Raisi said: “Wherever they went, they usually claimed freedom and equal rights for humans.” He added: “Modern Ignorance is the same as the old one, but “isms” have been added to it. This modern ignorance has power components such as media and technology.”
While praising the leadership of the late Imam Khomeini (R) and Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, Raisi said: “If there is a shortage today, it is related to the way executive bodies, not the leadership run the country. If you see success in any part of the country, it is where the words of the imam and the Leader have been followed, and wherever there is a shortage, it is related to those who did not believe in the jobs and the responsibilities they have accepted or the ability to carry out the duties assigned to them.”
“Today, we are strong in many areas, we have made a lot of progress, and the enemy’s anger is also due to these advances. I must say that all the pressures against Iran have failed shamefully”, he underscored,
“If the enemies think they can achieve their goals by making rumors, they are wrong. Why do you send us a message after the riots finish? You say, in your messages, that you are ready to talk, and you claimed that you were not looking for a regime change,” the president highlighted. “We welcome everyone, but we will not show mercy to those who oppose us,” The president said, referring to those who were involved in the recent unrest in the country.”
Coinciding with the days of martyrdom of Hazrat Fatemeh Zahra (PBUH), a funeral ceremony for the body of 200 unknown martyrs of the Holy Defense was held on Monday in the Museum of Islamic Revolution and Holy Defense.
Most of the bodies of these 400 martyrs are related to the operations “Badr,” “Ramadan,” “Karbala 5”, “Karbala 6”, “Wal Fajr 1”, “Beit al-Moghadas” in 1988 in the areas of “East Tigris,” “East Basra, “Shalamcheh” and “Somar.” They have been investigated by the Search Committee of the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces.
Among these martyrs, there are 200 unknown martyrs. According to Brigadier General “Bahman Kargar,” the head of the Foundation for the Preservation of the Artifacts and Publication of the Values of the Holy Defense, to identify the pure bodies of the unknown martyrs, their DNA is taken. After notifying the family and making arrangements, if the family agrees, the martyr remains in the same place of burial, otherwise, depending on the request, the body of the martyr is moved to the place where the family lives.
Another ceremony for 400 unknown martyrs was held early on Tuesday in front of the Main Entrance of the University of Tehran and with presence of President Raisi.
