TEHRAN (Iran News) – A political and trade delegation from Nigeria, headed by Nigerian Foreign Minister, is to arrive in TEhran on Monday, June 6 for talks and signing of trade agreements.
According to Iran’s Trade Promotion Organization, the Nigerian delegation will arrive in Tehran on June 6 for talks with Iranian officials and trade officials.
The delegation during its presence in Tehran will have some B2B meetings with Iranian trade officials and businessmen at the Trade Promotion Organization to explore ways of economic cooperation.
The delegation is to sign some MoUs on cooperation in the presence of Iran’s Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mr. Seyed Reza Fatemi-Amin.
Nigerian Foreign Minister is also to meet with Iran’s First Vice-President and Majlis Speaker.
Nigeria is one of the top four African trade partners of Iran as Iran’s exports to Nigeria in the first half of the past year rose by 8% and the trade volume of the two countries in the first six months of 2022 has been around $44m.
