Belgian Companies Ready for Participation in Construction Projects in Iran
  A member of the Iran-Belgium Joint Chamber of Commerce says in case the Iranian government decides to import modern and advanced technologies from European companies, the chamber will do its best to participate in the construction boom in Iran.

A member of the Iran-Belgium Joint Chamber of Commerce says in case the Iranian government decides to import modern and advanced technologies from European companies, the chamber will do its best to participate in the construction boom in Iran.

Speaking to IRNA, Vahik Shahinian referred to the readiness of the Belgian construction industries for presence in Iran’s construction market, adding that presence of Belgian construction industries in Iran’s market dates back to 2008 with holding a seminar on construction based on Iranian-Belgian methods with the presence of the then Belgian Ambassador and concurrent with the launch of the Mehr Housing Project in Iran.

He added that Belgian companies have shown in action that they are willing to cooperate in the housing and construction projects in Iran with the advanced technologies and investment but at that time it was not welcomed seriously by the Iranian side.

Shahinian noted that the main task of the chamber is to set up several plants related to the construction and using advanced technologies to reduce the human error. He emphasized that in the field of participation for construction of housing units, the chamber is ready to study the offered requests by Iran.

He said currently using the modern technology in construction and ready-made industrial parts are the solution for construction industry in Iran and through using these methods, the country can construct huge amount of houses in the shortest time.

Shahinian who is the CEO of Iran-Belgium Construction Company added that through these technologies, it can insure the safety of the buildings against the earthquakes while the country is located on the earthquake belt.

He noted that using these technologies have many profits for this industry like increasing the longevity of the buildings.

He went on to say that the big country of Iran needs a genuine and direct cooperation with big powers of production and big successful technologists in the construction sector in order to manage at best its accumulated construction and housing demands and such a great opportunity should not be missed.
