TEHRAN (Iran News) – Tehran, Jakarta Call for Exchange of High Quality Goods. Head of Arak Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture Mr. Naser Beiki in meeting with Ambassador of Indonesia to Tehran Mr. Ronny P. Yuliantoro said exchange of high quality goods between Iran and Indonesia will help the trade relation between the two countries to grow.
Beiki said that using high quality and competitive products in exports is a suitable solution for enhancing the economic relations with other countries.
He added that there have been great common points in trade exchange between Markazi Province and Indonesia and this meeting can be a new chapter for interaction between the two countries and it should continue.
He noted that oil and oil products are of the necessary needs of Indonesia, and added that Markazi Province as one of the important provinces of Iran in the field of oil industry can be a good option for expanding trade between Iran and Indonesia.
He went on to say that by the way, the presence of big and specialized industries in this province as the fourth industrial pole of the country is of the other advantages of this province which can encourage Indonesia for restoring trade relation with Iran.
Indonesian Ambassador Yuliantoro, for his part, expressed his satisfaction over the meeting with Arak Chamber of Commerce members and officials and welcomed the presence of Markazi Province industrial units as the fourth industrial pole of Iran in the market of Indonesia.
He stated that Indonesia with its 270m population can be a good market for any country, adding that Iran’s exports to Indonesia are mostly in the field of oil, gas and petrochemicals that LPG is also among them. He noted of course, in the field of non-oil exports, Indonesia imports aluminum, iron and steel from Iran.
The Indonesian diplomat added that Indonesia is very interested in expanding cooperation in the field of agro products, noting that dried fruits and pistachio are also exported by Iran to Indonesia but Jakarta is eager to cooperate in other fields of agro products and to import more agro products from Iran.
Yuliantoro went on to say that herbals are the other field in the agro products that both countries have good potentials in it, adding that saffron is good opportunity for exports to Indonesia, reiterating that Indonesia has also some capacities which can be exported to Iran.
He welcomed the invitation of Arak Chamber of Commerce for visiting Markazi Province in the near future, and suggested a video conference to be held in cooperation between Embassy of Indonesia and Arak Chamber of Commerce.
