TEHRAN (Iran News) – Judiciary Chief announced Monday that national demand is removal of all sanctions, and verification of the end to the sanctions as well.
This demand should not be used as a pretext for political disputes, Hojjatoleslam Ebrahim Reisi said.
Those aiming to restore the Iranian nation’s rights should not let the other side waste time, he noted.
Speaking in a session of the Judiciary’s Supreme Council, Reisi recalled the previous attempts against the Iranian nation including the Operation Eagle Claw, known as Operation Tabas in April 1980 during the early years of the Islamic Revolution and warned the Iranian diplomatic team in the ongoing nuclear talks in the Austrian capital of Vienna against the other side’s deceptive tactics.
The Judiciary chief said that removal of all sanctions is public demand and warned against the U.S. administration’s calls for dividing the sanctions on Iran into different groups of JCPOA-related or non-JCPOA related sanctions.
He called on the diplomats against the prolonged talks and wasting the time by the other side.
Tehran is engaged in talks with the remaining signatories to the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA) namely China, Russia, and the three major European countries of Britain, Germany and France in a bid to revive the nuclear deal in the Austrian capital of Vienna. The United States is not present as Iran has refused to directly talk with the new U.S. administration that still continues illegal Trump-era sanctions against the Iranian nation.
Reisi also urged the Judiciary personnel to work harder in order to resolve the people’s problem in the current condition that COVID-19 has hit the country. He reiterated that the Judiciary has this potential to eradicate cruelty and injustice in the society.
He noted that today the enemies are working hard to spread disappointment and hopelessness in the society and everyone is tasked to work hard to nullify those efforts and inject trust and hope into the society.
