TEHRAN (Iran News) – The foreign minister of Iran, Mohammad Javad Zarif, and his counterpart in Ukraine talked about the January crash of a Ukrainian plane near Tehran.
In a telephone conversation on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Ukrainian counterpart Kuleba Dmytro talked about a range of issues, including the latest developments in the bilateral relations and the efforts to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
Zarif and Dmytro also discussed the case of a crash of the Ukraine International Airlines Boeing 737-800 which was mistakenly shot down near Tehran on January 8.
The Iranian air defense unintentionally shot down the passenger plane amid the highest level of readiness because of a possible military attack by the US.
All 176 people on board the plane were killed.
