TEHRAN (Iran News) – Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) revealed China’s first entry of mask face consignment to the Islamic Republic of Iran on Tuesday.
China’s first package of face masks and thermometers entered into the country via Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA), according to IRICA.
Accordingly, 23 million masks include 20 million three-layer masks, three million N95 face masks, 10,000 thermometers and two millions of protective medical guns.
Earlier, In a letter penned to a number of world leaders on Sat., Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that confronting the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, requires coordinated regional and international actions.
He emphasized the need for all countries’ participation and efforts to counter the outbreak of coronavirus.
“No country can manage this huge, dangerous crisis alone, let alone if it has many difficulties accessing international financial markets and supplying its needed goods,” Rouhani stressed.
Rouhani referred to the spread of coronavirus and its turning into a global pandemic, and added, “this virus does not know any borders and chooses its victims without any political, religious, ethnic and racial considerations.”
