TEHRAN (Iran News) – Mahmoud Fekri was appointed as the new head coach of the Nassaji Mazandaran football club on Monday.
The 50-year-old coach has taken charge of the Iranian top-flight team until the end of the season.
He replaced Reza Mohajeri who walked away from his job on Saturday due to concerns about his health.
Mahmoud Fekri most recently was Azadegan League side Khooshe Talaee coach.
Nassaji is in danger of being relegated from the Iran Professional League to the first division and Fekri must save the team from the relegation.
