President Rouhani has forwarded a message of felicitation to President Xi Jinping of China on the occasion of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on October 1.
In his message forwarded on Sunday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani congratulated his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping and the people of China as they celebrate the 68th National Day of the People’s Republic of China.
President Rouhani stressed strong support for mutual efforts between the two sides for further development of relations in various fields and expansion of international cooperation.
He also prayed for the president’s continued health and success, as well as the nation’s felicity and prosperity.
The PRC was founded on September 21, 1949, with a ceremony celebrating the forming of the Central People’s Government on October 1 that year.
