A Trade delegation from Alborz Province led by chairman of Alborz Chamber of Commerce is currently in Poland to explore ways for expanding economic cooperation between both states.

The delegation started its visit by travelling to Silesia Province and meeting officials of the province.

Chairman of Alborz Chamber of Commerce and head of the delegation Mr. Rahim Bana Molaei told reporters that during his meetings with Polish officials, they announced readiness for investment in Alborz Province.

During the meeting with the Polish traders,  Mr.  Bana Molaie explored ways on economic cooperation with Polish economic activists for joint projects and investments.

He said that that his visit was aimed at having constructive talks with Polish officials for easing the ground for boosting bilateral trade. He added that one of his suggestions was to have barter trade.

He added that if Iran’s embassies worldwide raise the issue of bartering goods during talks with foreign countries, some problems for imports of raw materials would be resolved for the country. He admitted that one of the most important current problems is transfer of money and financial transactions and barter trade will be a solution for it.

He also announced readiness of Alborz Province for hosting Polish tourists. He went on to say that during talks with the Polish officials, he reiterated that the province is ready to host health tourists from Poland.

Bana Molaei went on to say that Alborz Province has potential to become a tourist hub for the country and private sector has always announced readiness to provide enough facilities for tourism industry in the province.

He also noted that Dizin skiing piste in Alborz Province Mountains is one of the most attractive and recreational destination in the province, noting that Polish officials are keen to dispatch tourists and sportsmen to Alborz Province.

Bana Molaei added that special economic zone and Payam Airport are of the major advantages of the province for developing its tourism, noting that by launching direct flight between Alborz Province and Warsaw, the capital of Poland, either passenger or cargo flight, both states can expand their trade relations.

He also stated that the province is ready to manufacture and export Polish products with their own brands to the regional markets.

The delegation is to continue its visit to Warsaw in Mazovia Province.
