Iran’s Ehsan Hadadi Has Eye on Olympics Medal
According To Iran News, Iranian discus thrower Ehsan Hadadi says he is going to win a medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
Hadadi competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal with a 68.18 m throw, becoming the first Iranian discus thrower to win a medal at Olympics.
Now, he is going to win his second medal in the prestigious competition.
“I will do my best to win a medal at Tokyo. I can win a gold medal with a 68 meters throw,” Hadadi said.
“I will have to compete with athletes from Jamaica, Austria, Sweden and Romania. I think I can win a gold medal with a throw of 68 meters,” the thrower added.
“I will reach to my best form until May 2020. Mr. Soltanifar (Sports and Youth Minister) has vowed to provide all the facilities and I am going to go on the podium in Tokyo,” Hadadi added.
