Syria’s Oil Will Belong to All Syria
The U.S. game of a step back and a step forward in northeastern Syria and ultimately U.S. officials’ confession for deployment of their forces for protecting oil wells in northeastern Syria indicate their habit of banditry and looting in the region. It is true to say that you Americans created and equipped the Daesh group by President Barack Obama and helped them to rule the nations in the region in order to materialize your goals and your goals are nothing but plundering the wealth of nations in the region through all poverty that you inflicted on them.

But this should be clear that Syrian Army and people and Syrian leadership in collaboration with Iran and Russia and with the help of the Almighty will not let you materialize your wishes. Perhaps today and for some time you can succeed in deploying American troops for oil wells and be able to stop discourage Turkey from having its fancy of dominating over oil in northeastern Syria but neither Turkey nor you will be able to exploit this heavenly wealth to the Syrian people.
Fortunately Syrian Army has recently deployed military units on a distance of 20 km from Qamishli to Al-Qahtaniyah. According to the pictures which have been published on this auspicious move, people of those regions have warmly welcomed Syrian troops. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, close to the opposition forces, has reported that Syrian troops’ deployment in Al-Hasakah Governorate still continues. Syrian Army had left the region almost seven years ago. Earlier, the Syrian Army troops had succeeded in entering Qamishli district and deploying in towns of Ad Darbasiyah and Amuda as well as some villages in the western part of the governorate and settlements in northeast overlooking Turkey’s border.
By the way, Syrian Army has continued to advance and to deploy in northeastern Syria and it entered Al-Ramilan region in Hasakah Governorate and it has taken the control of oil fields after years. According to the report, the army soldiers have already gained back control of Molla Abbas oil field which is a part of the giant al-Ramilan oil field. At the same time, Russian Foreign Ministry in an official statement said that oil fields should be under control of Syrian government. So neither can Turkey remain in Syrian territory in pretext of chasing the opposition Kurds nor can the U.S. fulfill its plan for its dominion over Syrian oil in the north. This is Syria’s warning to Turkey, and Americans also have noticed the warning if Turkey does not withdraw from Tell Abyad and Ras Al-Ayn regions, Syrian Army through military operation will recapture those regions.
Syria believes Turkey has not reached its goals in Syria since Syrian Democratic Forces signed an accord with Damascus which helped Syrian Army to enter the northeastern parts of Syria.
Several news and reports indicate that once the Syrian Army troops’ entered east and northeast Syria, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s plan has totally failed, and even Turkish and Russian troops’ joint ground patrols in northeast Syria are temporary and Syrian President Bashar Assad has emphasized it in his recent interview that the patrols were aimed at monitoring the implementing of Sochi Agreement and assurance about pullout of Syrian Democratic Forces from the border regions and arrival of Syrian Army to those regions. So this is a transitional stage and after it, the number of patrols will decrease and by full deployment of Syrian Army forces in the borders, the operation of patrolling will end. The most important issue in the border dispute between Turkey and Syria is to respect border lines between both countries according to the law, and occupation of any part of northeastern Syria under any pretext from both the U.S. and Turkey is totally rejected.
