TEHRAN (Iran News) – Mohammad Parsi from Iran claimed a bronze medal on Wednesday. He played at the ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships that held in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates.
M. Parsi lost to Tajikistan’s Abdurahim Yoqubov in the competition’s semifinals but won a bronze medal.
A total of 239 boxers which comprises of 170 boys and 69 girls from 26 countries are taking part in the nine-day championship.
The competition started on October 8 in Fujairah and will go on till October 17.
