Sanat Naft coach Faraz Kamalvand stepped down from his job following fans’ inappropriate behavior toward him and his players.
Sanat Naft drew 1-1 with Iran Professional League (IPL) leader Paykan but Kamalvand announced he is no longer the team’s coach for the disrespectful behavior.
Kamalvand took charge of Sanat Naft on a two-year contract in May.
He replaced Firooz Karimi in Abadan-based club, who finished 12th in Iran Professional League last season.
Sanat Naft sits sixth in the IPL table and has qualified for Iran’s Hazfi Cup quarter-final.
