Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ghasemi censured Bahrain for blaming Iran for every incident that happens in the island nation, the most recent one being the explosion on its pipeline.
In a statement on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi dismissed the “absurd” and “baseless” accusations of Bahraini officials about Iran’s involvement in the explosion on its pipeline, adding “apparently, the only thing that Bahraini authorities have learned to say after each incident that occurs in the island nation is to accuse Iran.”
“They should know that the time of uttering such lies and playing the childish blame game has long passed,” he stressed.
Ghasemi went on to add, “we have repeatedly stressed that we consider the stability and security of all our neighbors as the stability and security of our own, and will always remain committed to this principle.”
