The Iranian First Vice President Es’hagh Jahangiri called on Iranian manufacturers to export more of their products as the decline in national currency is in favor of exports.

Speaking to reporters on the anniversary of the National Journalist Day after a cabinet meeting on Wednesday afternoon in Tehran, Es’hagh Jahangiri urged the companies and manufactures to double their efforts to export more goods in the current situation that favors them.

He warned against the US government’s plots against the country’s economy, stressing that the people and the government can overcome the difficulties through accurate planning and called on the private sector to seize the opportunity provided by the depreciation of rial.

He said that exports has become a lucrative business now and could benefit the exporters a lot.

The Iranian vice president further stressed the need for removing obstacles on the way of exports on the part of the government, calling on the Industry, Mine and Trade Ministry to prepare appropriate mechanisms to facilitate exports.

He also expressed his congratulation on the anniversary of the National Journalist Day.
