TEHRAN – Iraqi President Fuad Masum has said that Iran’s role in Iraq is reassuring and in line with stability in his country, IRNA reported.
After a meeting on Sunday with Ali Akbar Velayati, a top foreign policy advisor to the Leader, President Masum said Iraq will never forget Iran’s valuable military support as well as humanitarian aid in the war against Daesh (ISIL).
He said in his meeting with Velayati the two sides discussed issues of mutual interests, adding that the two countries have no differences and that their historic ties are expanding.
