TEHRAN – The Film Museum of Iran is displaying a selection of stills from movies on the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war to commemorate the anniversary of the war.

Photos by seven photographers, including Mitra Mahaseni, Babak Borzuyeh, Amir-Hossein Shojaei, Habib Majidi and Hamid Jaanipur, have been selected for the collection.

The weeklong exhibit showcases stills from Ebrahim Hatamikia’s “Minu Watchtower”, Rasul Mollaqolipur’s “Journey to Chazzabeh” and Mohammad-Ali Bashe Ahangar’s “The Queen”.

Photos from Masud Naqashzadeh’s “The Child and the Angel” and Narges Abyar’s “Track 143” are also on display at the showcase.

The exhibit was previously displayed under the title “The Third Day” to commemorate the liberation of the city of Khorramshahr in late May for one week.
