Recent works of painter Yari Ostovany, 55, are on display at Aria Art Gallery.
Like the rest of his exhibits, the event is a showcase of abstract works on poetic and spiritual subjects.
The works are oil on canvas. They are the proof of Ostovany’s mastery in coloring techniques. The exhibit will run through October 23. Visiting hours are 10 am to 8 pm, Gallery Info reported.
“My works are based on improvisation. They are journeys in the world of poetry. They are not a representation of spiritual energy but transformation of energy into light and texture. I use abstraction to represent psychic states,” Ostovany said in a note on the exhibit.
The gallery is located at No. 10, Zarrin Alley, Valiasr Avenue, north of Beheshti Street.
