Major General Igor Konashenkov Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation lashed out that UK government and expounded on the way of recent chemical attacks on Syria’s Douma city and said, “opposition groups to the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad carried out such heinous act with insistence and pressure of British government.”

Given the above issue, UK pressurized opposition members of Syrian government to set up and stage a chemical attack in Syria, he emphasized.

“We have enough information, showing that UK government pressurized Syrian opposition groups to wage military attack in Syria,” he opined.

For his part, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in a joint meeting with his Dutch counterpart announced, “the scene of chemical attack on Syria’s Douma city is done by an intelligence service of a country which is against policies taken by Russian government in the region.”

Terrorists recently claimed that Syria’s Douma city has been heavily attacked chemically, based on which, it claimed lives of 75 people and dozens of injured.

However, Syrian government dismissed any intervention in this chemical attack categorically.
