Meeting with commander-in-chief of army and a host of senior commanders of the ground force of the army on Sun. Ayatollah seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran hailed the pro-unity remarks of army commanders.
“Major General Mousavi made good remarks on the necessity of keeping unity and solidarity between the Iranian armed forces, despite affiliation to his own organization and emotional commitment to army which both at the same time should be preserved and insisted on,” said Ayatollah seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Sunday.
The Iranian Leader made the remarks in a meeting with commander-in-chief of army and a host of senior commanders of the ground force of the army in Tehran.
The Leader also commended the efficiency and experience of the old personnel of the army and voiced hope about the bright future of the young personnel. He called for continuation of progress and boost of capabilities in the army and added, “The progresses should still be continued to have a stronger, better, more revolutionary, and more efficient army in the future than the one we have today.”
The meeting was scheduled on the occasion of the National Army Day which is celebrated annually on April 18, a date that marks the historic decree of late Imam Khomeini in support of army.
“I urge all you dear young people to use the utmost of your creativity, efforts, and human potentials to put forward and progress the cause of the army,” said the Leader.
