TEHRAN – Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has blacklisted certain US citizens and entities in a tit-for-tat policy vis-à-vis US imposition of new sanctions against Iranian defence officials and an Iranian “entity”, IRAN NEWS quoted ISNA as reporting.
“Today the new US administration in compliance with JCPOA obligations renewed Congress sanctions waiver and continued halting these sanctions. At the same time, as it had already been anticipated, the administration tried to dilute the positive outcomes of implementation of the JCPOA via inciting an atmosphere of negativity and exercising pressure. It sent a report to the Congress with baseless and unfounded charges in other areas, adding a number of Iranian individuals and companies to the missile program sanctions list,” Iran’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement Thursday.
The Ministry’s sanctions list includes 23 companies and individuals including Horacio D.Rozanski, the CEO of Booz Allen Hamilton, which is a US security corporation affiliated to CIA. Booz Allen Hamilton conducts intelligence missions for Americans in the Middle East region.
It gathers intelligence from Iranian security bodies, the statement said.
