Iran accounts for 27% foreign trade share with 11 European countries in Q1

 Foreign trade statistics in the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21-June 21) shows that Islamic Republic of Iran conducted more than $3.1 billion trade exchanges with 11 European countries, accounting for 27.6 percent share of country’s total foreign trade volume.

Statistical tables of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) indicate that Iran exported $222 million worth of products to 11 European countries in this period.

IRICA reported that 27,883,000 tons of products with considering gas condensates, valued at $11.618 billion, were exported from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the aforementioned European countries in the first quarter of the current year (March 21-June 21), registering a significant 1 and 15.6 percent growth in terms of volume and value respectively.

China, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iraq, Afghanistan and South Korea have been reported as Iran’s top five export markets in this period, accounting for 60 percent of country’s total export share.
