Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi has congratulated young Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers on winning the Asian Championships.
The National Iranian junior Greco-Roman wrestling team won the Asian Championships which wrapped up on Wednesday in New Delhi, India.
The young Iranian wrestlers clinched the title after collecting 6 gold, 3 silver and one bronze medals with 225 points, followed by national teams of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, each with 147 and 135 points, respectively.
In a statement on Thursday, Bahram Ghasemi congratulated the Iranian nation, and all those who played a role in the achievement, including the wrestlers and their coaches.
