US President Trump said he will announce his decision on the 2015 Iran nuclear deal on Tuesday, four days earlier than the expected deadline.

“I will be announcing my decision on the Iran Deal tomorrow from the White House at 2:00pm,” he wrote Monday afternoon.

Trump’s decision to pull out of the nuclear deal, a multilateral agreement signed between Iran and the 5+1, will cancel the US’ commitment to extend sanctions waiver on Iran’s energy and banking system.

Despite Iran’s full compliance with the agreement, as confirmed 11 times by the IAEA, Trump has been critical of the deal and acted in violation of the spirit and the text of the JCPOA.

Iran says the agreement would not hold if one party decides to withdraw from it, and the country will consider advancing its nuclear program to the level before the signing of the JCPOA.
